Update

Hello all. I'm safe in Thessaloniki, and headed to Mount Athos bright and early tomorrow morning at 6am. Pictures aren't loading on to either Facebook or the blog here, so I suppose you'll hear about the Seven Churches, Istanbul, and Mount Athos from, sadly, Athens. Still, despite a brief delay due to overloaded trains (thanks to the ash cloud), I'm back on track and on my way.
